Christmas Season in Antwerp
If you like a cozy, warm and dazzling Christmas, experience then you must visit Antwerp. The Christmas Market is an amazing experience with music performances, beautiful Christmas lightning, a traditional manger and a gigantic, shimmering outdoors ice skating.
On the rink you can skate throughout the Christmas period – a great way to exercise if you’ve eaten too many mince pies! The Christmas Market houses a collection of stalls with great Christmas gifts and delicious snacks.
Also, the entire city of Antwerp is decorated in the mood of the moment. The city shops are open on Sunday December 11 & December 18 so you have enough time to buy your Christmas gifts.
On January 14 we have to close this wonderful period with a huge Christmas Bean burning on the “Linkeroever”. Here you can enjoy the warmth, a nice drink… set against a fantastic backdrop (MAS, the Schelde, …) and pleasant music.
