Jumping Mechelen heeft al 31 jaar een schitterende reputatie. Dit hippe eindejaarsfeest brengt alle disciplines bij elkaar van maandag 26 december tot vrijdag 30 december met de 3 wereldbekers en verscheidene nationale en regionale wedstrijden. Alle proeven worden afgewisseld met sprankelende, schitterende shows en in het deelnemersveld vindt u dit jaar enkel de absolute WERELDTOP.
Maandag is volledig in het teken van Amika, de TV serie. Merel, Amika & het volledige tv-team zullen de kinderen entertainen en tussendoor worden verschillende Meet & Greets georganiseerd zodat u de acteurs kan ontmoeten.

Jumping Mechelen celebrates its 31st year this winter. This Christmas extravaganza brings together all equestrian disciplines for an amazing week of events.
From Monday, December 26 until Friday, December 30th riders compete in three World Cups: Dressage, Jumping & Driving along with several national and regional competitions. All tests are interspersed with beautiful and dynamic shows. The contestants this year are the best in the world.
On Monday, a day dedicated to Amika, the popular TV series. Merel, Amika and the entire TV crew will entertain the children between events. Amika and the cast will also be meeting and greeting their young fans at special gatherings.

Breakfast
The breakfast buffet has been upgraded to a higher level. It is split up into different corners, and we have added some diet and items suitable for a range of special dietary requirements. As from now we have the Holland Poffers in our Sweet Corner, the Tea experience and the Healthy corner provides a wide range of fruit & yoghurts.

Vanaf 2 december kan de magie beginnen. Dan opent de Magiq Spiegeltent haar deuren in het Centraal Station te Antwerpen. In het oude gedeelte van het station mag dit spektakel plaats vinden van 2 december tot 15 januari. Hier worden de feestdagen op magische wijze ingezet in een uniek kader. Je kan er terecht voor de echte thé dansants, aperitiefconcerten, workshops & optredens van het beste dat Antwerpen en omstreken te bieden heeft.
Op het programma staat er heel wat muziek, dans & cultuur. De Magiq Spiegeltent slaagt er altijd in om de massa te verblijden met haar magische touch. Het is echt veel meer dan een gewone feestzaal!

Als u houdt van een gezellige, warme & oogverblindende Kerst, dan moet u gewoon in Antwerpen zijn. De Kerstmarkt is een echte aanrader, met verschillende muziekoptredens, schitterende kerstverlichting, een authentieke kerststal & een gigantische glinsterende ijspiste.
Op deze piste kan er gedurende de gehele kerstperiode geschaatst worden & de kerstmarkt herbergt een verzameling van marktkraampjes met leuke kerstcadeau’s en heerlijke versnaperingen.
Ook is de gehele binnenstad van Antwerpen gedecoreerd in de stemming van het moment. De winkels openen uitzonderlijk hun deuren op zondag 11 december & 18 december, zodat u zeker genoeg tijd hebt om u kerstpakketjes te kopen.
Op 14 januari wordt al dit gezelligs afgesloten met een enorme Kerstboonverbranding op Linkeroever. Hier kan je genieten van de gezellige warmte, met op de achtergrond gezellige muziek & een fantastisch decor (MAS, De Schelde, …)

On the rink you can skate throughout the Christmas period – a great way to exercise if you’ve eaten too many mince pies! The Christmas Market houses a collection of stalls with great Christmas gifts and delicious snacks.
Also, the entire city of Antwerp is decorated in the mood of the moment. The city shops are open on Sunday December 11 & December 18 so you have enough time to buy your Christmas gifts.
On January 14 we have to close this wonderful period with a huge Christmas Bean burning on the “Linkeroever”. Here you can enjoy the warmth, a nice drink… set against a fantastic backdrop (MAS, the Schelde, …) and pleasant music.

Op Nieuwjaar wordt er traditioneel thuis een feestmaaltijd met fruit van het seizoen (vb. vijgen met honing) gegeten. Er worden ook bloemen en fruit verstuurd naar kennissen en vrienden.
